 For over thirty years Aileen Minor Antiques has specialized in fine American formal furniture of the period 1800-1850, from the leading furniture making centers of Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore, with special emphasis on the neo-classical period (1810-1840). We seek exceptional pieces based on beauty of form, craftmanship and rarity, and thoroughly research every piece. We stock upholstered pieces restored in the period manner, sets of chairs, exceptional mirrors, secretaries, Argand lighting, sculpture and all forms appropriate in early l9th century interiors.
We have placed pieces in the collections of the Maryland Historical Society, The United States Capital, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, The Bayou Bend Museum, Houston, and many private collectors.
