One of Aileen's passions is garden antiques. With an educational background including a master's degree in history, and teaching experience in the United States and Europe, Aileen Minor has a deep scholarly interest in the classical period and history of garden ornament.

Garden antiques add a sense of embellishment to an existing garden decor. Using one-of-a kind pieces that highlight certain sites can establish a new sense of peace or provide a complete make over for the garden. Using extraordinary antique garden ornaments and furnishings of the past creates a sense of ambiance that extends the presence of a historical building or they can used to set the tone for your passion of collecting things of another era.

We have a special interest in fine early 19th century lighting, curtain pins or tiebacks, glass, paintings, and engravings of the period. Garden settees, urns, fountains, and sculpture are always on display in our outdoor garden "rooms", viewed by appointment in our 1806 federal brick building so you can view them in a garden setting.

We have sold to many museums, public collections, and private collectors, and are always interested in teaching and working with new clients. We thoroughly research and document each antique garden ornament and antique garden furnishing that we sell.
