| Pair of extra large labeled antique terra cotta planter pots by the Galloway Terra Cotta Co. Philadelphia, 1900-1920. These classical design pots are of beige architectural terra cotta designed to withstand cold weather. The Galloway Terra Cotta Co. established in the early 19th century, was an outstanding maker of garden ornaments, winning prizes at World's Fairs. These large pots have crisp classical medalion and floral swag designs and were displayed on grounds of a large estate on Mount Desert Island, Maine, featured in the June 2005 issure of Architectural Digest.
